CHEMKED

CHEMKED is a set of highly effective, easy-to-use tools for creating and editing thermodynamic and reaction databases, forming reaction mechanisms and solving problems of complex gas-phase chemistry. The program will be useful for you, if you work in the field of the chemical kinetics and study the atmospheric chemistry, air pollution, combustion chemistry or waste gas treatment.

You will have the checked and consistent thermodynamic and chemical kinetics databases with easy access to the information. With the program tools you can quickly create desirable reaction mechanism and directly enter it in the CHEMKED solver to solve problems of complex gas phase chemical kinetics. The results are analyzed with the postprocessor tools. The source data and results of calculations are accessible in the numerical and graphical forms; this information can be exported into clipboard or files for use in other documents.

The program will help you, if you need to incorporate gas-phase chemistry into problems of fluid dynamics. For reaction mechanism, created with the CHEMKED tools, the program builds up a CHEMKIN format text file that consists of a reaction list and thermodynamic data. The file can be used as input file in the CHEMKIN subroutines or other applications.

 

CHEMKED consists of two parts: CHEMKED-I and CHEMKED-II.
